Free calculators that run in your browser, with no sign-up needed.
What these calculators do
These free calculators run entirely in your browser, with nothing sent to a server and no account needed. Use them to sanity-check a rate before you agree to it, or to check an invoice before you send it.
- Day rate to hourly rate calculator: turn a day rate into an hourly rate, with overtime, Saturday and Sunday rates using your own multipliers.
- Overtime calculator: enter a week's normal, overtime and weekend hours to get each line and the total.
- Late payment interest calculator: estimate statutory interest and compensation on an overdue business invoice.
How the sums are done
Hourly rates are kept at full precision and each line is rounded to the penny (half up), which is how most payroll and invoicing systems do it. If your client rounds differently, the totals may differ by a penny or two, so agree the method if it matters.
If you invoice every week, BillMyWeek uses the same rate rules to fill in your invoice and produce the PDF.
Questions
Are the calculators free?
Yes. They're free, run in your browser and don't need an account.
Is my data saved?
No. The calculators work in your browser and don't send or store what you type.
Why do my totals differ by a penny from my client's?
It's usually rounding. These tools round each line to 2 decimal places, while some systems round the hourly rate first.
